Redefine God - Open Source Religion and Religion 2.0

The Open Source Religion & Spirituality Project and Religion 2.0

(to be refined by any member willing to contribute)

There is no "God" more encompassing than That Which Is.
We are That Which Is.

"Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods' ?
- The Bible (John. 10:34-35)"

What is Redefine God?

Redefine God is a spiritual social-network actively exploring the scientific research on human potential and personal mythology who are assembling their own "sacred text" called The Source Code based upon science and reason.
It's also a place to debate your perspective on the issues.
It's also a place to find community support from like-minded people.

What is Religion 2.0? Or what is Open-Source Spirituality?
The members of Redefine God are in a constant process of spiritual study and evolution, designing the first collaboratively created "sacred text" called The Source Code (beta here). The Source Code is explained in detail below.
Religion 2.0 is the new paradigm everyone has been talking about. It changes with your personality and is back purely by science and reason. It's less about mob-mentality and more about individuality. It completely envelopes all other beliefs. You might say it is the religion of what is.

Do Redefinists have any beliefs?
Redefinists do not generally believe in anything...except for what they believe in. Sound confusing? It isn't really. Aside from this they experience and know things. Belief requires one to be in the dark about something. Knowledge, examination and experience are superior to faith, belief and hope in that they are usually sufficient in of themselves.

Is Redefine God a religion?
Not exactly. It's the way things are. And it's the study of that way.
It can function as a religion if you like. Or not.

What is the core concept of Redefine God?
That there is nothing more vast and all-encompassing than All That Which Is. This includes you and I. Be sure to recognize there is also no God more vast and all-encompassing than All That Which Is. This includes the Gods of all religions.

Wouldn't that mean you are God?
Yes.

So human potential huh?
That's right. What kind of God would you be without Godlike powers? Have you realized you are Eternal? That you predict the future? That psychic phenomena has shown a great deal of promise in many experiments?

What is The Source Code?
The Source Code is intended as a base foundation of spiritual yet scientific and/or logical set of principles regarding the laws of existence. What this means is that it is a"belief system" solely derived from scientific fact and rational deduction. But do not be fooled, it doesn't really require any beliefs at all. The wiki will probably contain a great deal of information regarding parapsychology, metaphysics, quantum physics and personal mythology.

For instance I recently heard the human heart has a magnetic field measurable up to 6 feet away from an individual. It makes one wonder about the possibility of people's fields effecting each other. Maybe this actually explains why people can have "bad vibes". This also ties into the "transplanted memories" phenomena experienced by people who have had heart or other organ transplants.

These kind of claims will need to have references, data, analysis, experiments, etc, so that we all know there is genuine research backing a particular claim. This will all be possible via an upcoming
wiki.

What's a wiki? Watch this:

It is called Source Code because like an open-source software we have a basic spiritual structure which will remain in tact (until upgraded) like a tree trunk (see this here). And upon this basic structure more detailed information is developed about the different aspects of Source Code; these are the branches including topics like the paradox of life and death, individuality and unity, etc. At this point in the tree there should be the littlest or no need for:
1) Faith
2) Dogma
3) Belief
4) Myth

The last part of the tree are the leaves. These are the individual fatihs, dogma, etc that are developed by any individuals Personal Mythology (belief in love at first site, belief that humans are all naturally good). The leaves are up to the users and will not be included in the official Source Code text, yet can be followed personally on everyones profiles here at Redefine God in the soon to be quizzes, projects, activities and more.

The contents of Source Code may be philosophical or theoretical but they are always determined by science and logic, not faith or dogma.

Source Code is ever evolving in relation to current science (first) and the popular vote of the members of Redefine God (second).

As the members of RG collectively contribute and edit these entries and essays we will form the first and only "sacred text" written by a community. Thus capturing the essence of Religion 2.0 or Open-Source Spirituality.

From this unit I learned quite a few things: 1.) Intuition and intellect work best when utilized together. However, in modern day, we are taught to evaluate based on reason rather than what our senses are telling us. I think we are selling oursel...
